Great shot of the reenactors. The shaded area on my monitor appears to be a bit overly bluish in nature though...could just be my monitor and it really isn't such a bad thing..just noticable.

It's hard to say for sure. Could be the in camera white balance is set a bit too cool and may need to be adjusted toward the warmer side. Could be the type of picture profile your camera is set to...Sometimes auto white balance can give you funny colors in certain kinds of lighting situations. If you're shooting using auto white balance, you might try shifting to one of the situational profiles like shade or cloudy.

I generally, but not always, shoot on 'cloudy' even on sunny days especially in shaded areas as it warms up the image just enough without making it to warm...'Shade' is usually too warm and can really shift the white balance to far.

Those are just guesses...could be something entirely different. It's not that the blue tint is all that bad...it's just noticable.

I am sure I had it in auto white. I will try cloudy. I have had problems with the blue in my Shadows for a while. Now I know. Thanks Guys!!!

I was at the fort a few weeks back and took some pictures. I had the same problem with my pictures at the fort. See the attached photo. I also made pictures at Houchen's Museum and some other places and had no problem of too much blue in the pictures.
