Photos from Motorcycle museum

John Beaver and I went to the Cyclemos Motorcycle Museum in Red Boiling Springs, TN last Saturday. It was an interesting place. Here are a couple of pictures from the museum. The tire is an unusual cycle tire. You have to look close to see why.

How in the world did it get both "Firestone" and "Goodyear" on the side?

I am not aware of why both names are on the tire. I failed to ask the museum owner as to the circumstances that resulted in the manufacturing of the tire.

I found out why both names on the tire. This is a tire for a wartime motorcycle. Both companies used government supplied molds.
