Monthly Programs:
Our program director and support team put together monthly programs ranging from
DVD presentations and member presentations to guest speakers and how-to's
Club Contests:
An assignment is announced at each meeting. The contest may have certain rules
and will be announced as such. Photos are due the Friday before a meeting by 4pm.
Up to four photographs may be entered; one each into:
~ Assignment Manipulated
~ Assignment Unmanipulated
~ Open Manipulated
~ Open Unmanipulated
What is manipulation?
Manipulation is altering a photograph beyond it's original
composition. Artistic enhancements beyond what is capable in a wet darkroom is
manipulation and is not allowed in the unmanipulated categories.
Still unsure? What you ARE allowed to do in this category is color enhance,
dodge/burn, crop, sharpen and adjust saturation. Changing from color to
monochrome is not manipulation.
